Plot summary: While investigating the activities of notorious mob boss Anthony Carleoni, sexy intrepid reporter Paula "Peril" Perillo (Valerie Perez) witnesses an explosion which rips through half the wharf area of Big City. Paula throws herself deep into action and peril to get the truth behind the story. Is Carleoni trying to expand his criminal empire…or does he have more sinister intentions?
Paula's life is further complicated when she finds herself paired with handsome young photographer Jimmy Smith, shadowed by the mysterious informant Delphi, and rivaled by snooty, sexy celebrity beat reporter Veronica Vilencourt.
